Go to Settings > Bank Accounts (Plaid) > Link Your Bank. TaxGuard uses Plaid to securely connect to your financial institution. Your bank credentials are never stored on our servers.
Go to Settings > Bank Accounts (Plaid). Tap the disconnect icon next to the bank you want to remove. Previously imported transactions will remain in your records.
When adding an expense, tap the camera icon to photograph a receipt or pick one from your photo library. The image is stored with the expense as backup documentation for the deduction. Automatic extraction of vendor, amount, and date is coming in a future release.
Go to Reports & Export from the Settings menu. You can export Schedule C summaries, expense reports, income reports, and mileage logs as CSV or PDF.
Go to the Trips tab and tap "Start Trip" before you drive, then "Stop" when you arrive. TaxGuard tracks the distance using GPS and applies the current IRS standard mileage rate.
Go to Settings (More tab) > scroll to the bottom > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including expenses, income, trips, invoices, tax payments, and bank connections.
TaxGuard is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future.
